The full GWO Advanced Rescue Training course enables participants to perform entry-type injured person rescue operations, in a wind turbine, using industry-standard rescue equipment, rescue methods, and techniques, exceeding those of GWO Working at Height. The combined GWO Advanced Rescue Training course takes 3 days to complete with the option to take modules individually as required. Hub, spinner and inside blade rescue and nacelle, tower and basement rescue are valid for 2 years from the date of completion, requiring an Advanced Rescue refresher course. The single rescuer versions of these courses have no expiry date.
