Iowa GWO Training Center
STL USA’s Iowa GWO training centre is run in partnership with Iowa Lakes community college. Recognised as one of the best wind energy training centres in the country. The training center is home to a host of facilities including climbing structures, fall arrest ladders, evacuation hatches and various lecture rooms.
Climbing Structure
The Iowa GWO training Center has a 25′ high climbing structure with an additional platform at the opposite end of the facility.
Fall Arrest Ladders
The Iowa GWO training Center is equipped with 2 Fall arrest ladders. These can be used for wind Energy, telecoms & Industrial applications to train the use of fall arrest devices.
Evacuation Hatch
The Iowa center comes with a dedicated evacuation hatch to simulate a wind turbine and various rescue and evacuation scenarios.
Edge Negations
A number of 20’ edge negations for rope Access and wind energy evacuation are available to simulate different situations.
