Frequently Asked Questions

Cancellation Policy

In the event of a full or partial cancellation by the customer the following charges will apply:

  • If more than 3 weeks before commencement, 0% of the course fee.
  • If less than 2 weeks before commencement; 50% of the course fee.
  • If less than 7 days; 100% of the course fee.

Safety Technology USA reserves the right to cancel or terminate wholly or in part any course and make changes to the course at any time and for any reason.


PPE (harnesses, lanyards, helmets) is not provided and candidates must bring their own kit. Candidates must bring their in-date certification of all PPE and must prove that it is fit for purpose.

PPE (gloves, masks, visors, sanitizing products) will be available as part of STL USA’s Covid-19 policy.

Course Prerequisites

In order to take part in any STL USA course, all participants must:

  • Complete a Covid 19 Questionnaire
  • Provide their WINDA ID
  • Be over 18 at the time of the course
  • Provide their own PPE (see above)
  • Provide an in-date GWO certificate for refresher courses.
