The full GWO Enhanced First Aid course is the global standard for safety qualifications in the Wind Energy sector. Both full course (3 day) and refresher (2 day) courses are available from STL USA in Texas and onsite.

Course Elements
The full GWO Enhanced First Aid course takes 3 days to complete. Courses are valid for 2 years from the date of completion.
The training course includes:
- Risks, hazards, legislation
- Anatomy and physiology
- Management of an incident
- Lifesaving and enhanced first aid using primary and secondary survey
- Pain management and further possible medication
- EFA Exercises (Scenario-based
training)
Course prerequisites:
- Be 18 or over on the date of the course
- Provide your own PPE - course attendee's single-use rescue kits will not be used in training
- This course involves the use of PPE, Rescue Equipment, Rescue Devices and other relevant equipment during practical and theoretical teaching. It DOES NOT provide any specific product training, qualification, approval, rating or sign-off of competence on any equipment used during training

GWO Enhanced First Aid
GWO Enhanced First Aid Refreshers are required at 2-year intervals.
GWO Enhanced First Aid Refreshers take 2 days to complete.
Pre-requisites to take this course:
- A valid GWO Enhanced First Aid Certificate
- Be 18 or over on the date of the course
- Provide your own PPE
